Navabharat now in Pune

avabharat, the Hindi daily from Madhya Pradesh Paper Ltd, launched its Pune edition on July 2, 2009. Priced at Rs 3, the Pune edition is the 11th edition of Navabharat in the country and the 3rd in Maharashtra.
Madhya Pradesh Paper Ltd officials claim that both Navabharat and Central Chronicle, the group’s English daily, cover a vast population of Central India and entire Western India. The group further claims that nearly six million readers in five states  Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Karnataka  wake up to Navabharat and Central Chronicle everyday.
Madhya Pradesh Paper Ltd was established in 1937. Navabharat was launched way back in 1942 with the first edition from Nagpur. Central Chronicle was launched in 1947 with the first edition from Bhopal.
